Hi, Yumi. How’re you doing?

Busy, but good. You?

Haha! Same here. Anyway, thanks for coming today. I just wanted to check in with you to see how you were doing with your project.

Thanks. It’s going pretty well. So far, I’ve been able to post something every day, just like I said I would.

That’s great! I’ve been reading your content, and I think you’re doing a really good job.

Thanks. That’s definitely nice to hear.

I mean it. But… I am also a little worried about you. You seem a bit overwhelmed. Is there anything you might want to share with me?

Oh. You noticed, huh? Okay. I’ll be honest. Like I said, this one-post-a-day SMART goal has been a lot of fun. It’s challenging, but it’s forcing me to be more decisive and also get used to using my blog tools. Both things I wanted.

Uh-huh.

The only thing is, when I made my goal, I’d forgotten this was a busy month for my husband as well, so that means I’m a lot busier at home, too. I really feel like I bit off more than I could chew… at least without feeling overwhelmed.

Wow. Yeah. I get it. I’ve been there. Listen. You do realize you don’t have to do one post a day, right? We can change your goal. That’s why we’re having this check-in. I respect and appreciate your dedication, but I care about you, and I don’t want you to get burned out, either.

Thanks for saying that. I really appreciate you being so understanding, but I actually do want to follow through with my current goal. I don’t want to give up!

Haha! Alright. As long as you want to do it. But let’s think of a way to make things easier for you. Have any ideas?

Well…
